The Painted Path Gallery is hosting a special Poetry Slam on October 1st, titled "Onward".
Poets are encouraged to intrepret the term "Onward" as it relates to difficult issues in our society. This is intended to be an exhibition that evokes hope and social change in a world that is so desperate to reform.
Potential topics of relevance include but are not limited to: racism, xenophobia, sexism, gun violence, homophobia, war, etc.
The poetry slam will feature spoken word poetry from local Artists and Writers in the Greater New Haven area.
